Our New Build Inspection Stages
We offer meticulous building oversight across the entire lifecycle of the build. From the ground up, we ensure your investment is protected.
1. Pre-Pour Inspection Before the concrete trucks arrive, we inspect the site preparation, vapour barriers, and steel reinforcement. This ensures the foundation of your home is set up correctly from day one.
2. Slab Inspection Once the concrete has cured, we check the finished slab for levelness, dimensions, and visible defects to ensure a solid base for the frame.
3. Frame Inspection The "skeleton" of your home must be perfect. Our frame inspection checks that all structural timber or steel—including roof framing—is installed according to the engineering plans and the Building Code.
4. Cladding (Lock-Up) Inspection We inspect the external cladding and building wrap to ensure the home is weather-tight and the exterior finishes are installed correctly before internal fit-outs begin.
5. Waterproofing Inspection Failed waterproofing is one of the most common and costly building defects. We inspect wet areas (bathrooms, laundries, balconies) prior to tiling to ensure membranes are applied correctly and compliant with standards.
